Following on from Neil's announcement in the newsletter last month that EGRC will be introducing a new running kit, at the last Committee meeting a new design and logo for EGRC was unanimously voted in.  The final design and look of the kit is still being finalised and also requires EA approval.  But we are very excited to introduce to you the new logo for the running club which gives a sneak peak of what our new kit will look like ...

Pomphrey Hill Community Sports Association (PHCSA), who manage the pavilion and outdoor facilities at Pomphrey Hill, are seeking new committee members. 

EGRC have a long-standing relationship with PHCSA and are one of the early supporters of the facility which we have made our home. Neil was also the driving force behind getting parkrun established at PH and Hilary (ex-trustee and one of the current committee members) has asked if we can put someone forward to join their committee as we have a vested interest and can represent the running community, both from the perspective of EGRC and parkrun.

As with all such things it requires as much effort as you're willing to give but attendance at (most of) the committee meetings would be required and it would give you the chance to have your say about how the facility is run, grows and develops.  If you would like more information or think you can help please speak Pete Blanchard to any member of the EGRC committee.
