Pairs Relay (4.3 miles)
The route for Thursday’s run can be found on the link below. It is a route that we have done a few times before, it should be familiar territory and there are no road crossings (bar a very tiny one on the edge of Siston Common). It is not essential that you memorise it, but prior knowledge of where you are going will be useful.
Runners will be teamed up in pairs. Runner A will carry the team baton clockwise around the route, Runner B will run anti-clockwise, baton-less. When Runner A meets Runner B somewhere out on the route, the baton will be passed and Runner B will switch back and head for home carrying the baton.
This is not a race, just an opportunity for a bit of exercise, a bit of banter and maybe a chat with someone you’ve not spoken to before. All clear? Good. Go on, give it a click (and then decide whether you want the half that includes running up the Zig Zag!)
