The full DHHM route was split into three sections, with Section 2 being approximately 4 miles over flat (ish!) terrain and with mud and river crossings for extra excitement. EGRC are organising a run of this section for all members (with route, instructions and more details to follow).
The run’s open to all, being a relaxed steady jog in the same manner as the Rodway recces in March. In consideration of all abilities, there’ll be tail runners with speedy runners looping back and forwards at regular intervals. If you’re new to trail running, this would be a perfect opportunity to give it a go with support from more experienced runners, see some terrific scenery and run with other friendly club members.
If you’re planning on joining us, it would be great if you could confirm by email to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can ensure we’ve enough support runners to cater for all abilities. Non-members welcome.
And if you’re able to help out on the day, it would be great to have your assistance – knowledge of the route and/or being able to loop back and forwards would be an asset!
Hope to see lots of you there!
