I’ve been a member since November last year

What do you enjoy most about running?

There was a time when enjoy and running didn’t go in the same sentence however now I find being part of the club and the social nature of the runs that make it most enjoyable for me

Do you have a favourite race/event/distance? If so tell us about it.

The event I have enjoyed most is the Rat Race Dirty Weekend. Its 200+ obstacles spread out over 20 miles. I’ll being doing it for the fourth time next May and really looking forward to it. The organisers make a full weekend of it with entertainment on the Friday and Saturday evenings which makes for a great weekend away.

What is the best place you have ever run?

Last year I took part in the 1st ever Man Vs Coast which takes you from St Michaels Mount, on the south coast of Cornwall, inland up to the north coast then all the way down to Lands End. It ended up being around 20 miles of amazing coastline. It was also one of the hottest days of the year so we took our time and enjoyed the stunning views – not sure I would have the same feelings about it if it had been raining!

What is top of your bucket list?

Too much to mention but definitely involves a lot of travel
