EGRC Charity Quiz Night

Friday evening of the 26th April saw the EGRC Charity Quiz in aid of the club’s chosen charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), hosted by our social butterfly in chief Matt Bessell and our very own Wendy Gwinneth.  Around 50 of us descended on Pomphrey to pit our wits, test our memories and generally – have a good crack. The quiz kept us suitably entertained, as did some of the answers to some of the picture rounds! (No Michael, that’s not Jer’s Gran. Nil points!). The music round also provided a nice trip down memory lane for those of us old enough to remember! If you didn’t have the London Marathon theme going around your head all weekend, it was Ski Sunday or Black Beauty! Most importantly – we managed to raise over one hundred pounds for CRY – which is fantastic!
