Ingredients
100ml almond milk
One chopped banana
A handful of blueberries
One teaspoon of cocoa powder (I use Green and blacks)
Instructions
Blend it all together and drink!

Danny's Ultimate Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients
100g pancetta
50g pecorino cheese
50g parmesan
3 large eggs
350g spaghetti
2 plump garlic cloves, peeled and left whole
50g unsalted butter
sea salt and freshly grated black pepper

Emersons Green Running Grub

For our first ever EGR Grub feature Tracey Horton has sent in the recipe for her favourite post-race pick me up drink:
"I used to drink shop bought protein drinks after a long run. But I don’t normally have dairy so they used to turn my.  stomach a bit! However, someone gave me a recipe for a healthy alternative.  You get protein from the milk, antioxidants and Vit C from the blueberries, carbs and potassium from the bananas and a lovely chocolate taste from the cocoa powder. :-)"

A recommendation from Nicola Tanner:

One of my current faves is called Twisted Britain https://twistedbritain.co.uk/. Tagline "a fortnightly podcast about UK true crime with a touch of the weird and the macabre". It's two friends, Bob and Nadine, who met in their local pub in Stirling and discovered a shared interest in exchanging stories about crimes and unusual morbid events in British history. They started recording this exchange of stories, live in the pub, and voila the podcast was born. It's a nice casual listen, very much like joining them at their pub table to hear a gruesome tale or two.
