Not long now. Its been odd without Club Nights in the diary for the last several months. Pre-Coronavirus, the number of Thursday Club nights I've missed over the last eight years can probably be counted on my fingers. At the moment, a Thursday night isn't much different to any other day of the week - family time, kids bedtime, teatime with a glass of something then bed. I've missed it, I've missed the routine and I've missed you guys. 

But it won't be long now until we are back in action. England Athletics have given us the green light to resume club activities. Please be patient however as we are compelled to adopt some new COVID-19 policies and practices to limit the spread of the virus. We are unlikely to have the use of the Changing Rooms when we return, we may limit attendance numbers and our sign-in process is likely to be different. Note that we also expect to be open to members-only initially when we return. 

Your EGRC Committee have a meeting next week where we will hopefully be able to put a date on the restart. When this decision has been made and we are confident that we can resume a safe, socially-distanced club night, we will let all members know via email. Please look out for this email and set aside a few minutes to digest the important information that it will contain. 

In the meantime, stay safe, stay active (keep yourself motivated with the regular challenges on the TeamEGRC Facebook page) and I look forward to emailing you all with that all-important date.
